WELCOME!

Stacie started 806 Speech and Feeding Therapy in 2018.

In 2016, her first child had problems swallowing effectively due to an underlying birth injury, tethered oral tissues, and fascia restriction from multiple surgeries.

When traditional swallowing therapy and myofunctional therapy were not enough to rehabilitate her son's issues, she became very interested in myofacial release for dysphagia and cranial sacral therapy.

Since opening, she has expanded her practice to include D'Laney, Alex, Margaret, Taylor, and Rachel. We are so excited to continue growing how many people we serve!

D’Laney Rhoades was born in Lubbock and raised in Ropesville where she graduated high school from Ropes ISD. After high school, she pursed her bachelor’s and master's degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

She has worked in public schools, rehabilitation hospitals, and outpatient clinics.

While in graduate school, she became very interested in feeding therapy, specifically for patients with tethered oral tissues (TOTs). Having a daughter who struggled with breastfeeding due to undiagnosed TOTs, she became passionate about helping new parents who might find themselves in the same shoes. She looks forward to meeting your family and guiding you all through the therapy journey!

D'Laney and Ethan have 3 girls and enjoy watching them grow and learn!

Margaret Woodfin, B.S. OT

Margaret has been married to her husband Mark for thirty-three years. They moved to Lubbock from Dallas twenty-five years ago for a slower paced life. They have two boys, Sam and Conor, who are self-sufficient and on their own. A golden retriever, Sunshine, rounds out the family with a love for all people and especially children.

Margaret graduated from TTUHSC some years ago with a BS degree in occupational therapy. She worked in the Dallas area for eight years, then took time off to raise her boys. She re-entered the field of OT when the boys started driving. She has worked at several places where she became adept at helping children with sensory processing difficulties, handwriting problems, general fine motor, and visual motor problems. Margaret enjoys engaging with children and their families and especially loves finding the right activities to complete at home in order to discharge from therapy.

When not at work, Margaret and her husband enjoy serving with a local ministry focused on fellowship with international students. They share who Jesus is and what he did for them. Along with ministry Margaret and Mark are in the local running club and enjoy all things hiking and exploring neew places.
